Bio
Jaya Bremer is an electro-pop artist based in Victoria, British Columbia, and a prominent figure in the regional music scene for nearly a decade — fronting and managing a gypsy jazz quintet, a Patsy Cline tribute band, and an indie-rock band called Wise Child. In 2020, she ventured into her own solo project, marked by the release of her debut album, “Everybody’s Getting Married.”
She has regularly been a featured artist at the TD Victoria International Jazz Festival, and has played such festivals as Song & Surf in Port Renfrew, and Phillips Backyard Weekend in Victoria, and was named a Vancouver Island regional Semi-Finalist for CBC Searchlight 2017.
Following her recent singles “Apartment 4” and “Our Potential”, Bremer shares the final single, “My Expectations,” from her forthcoming sophomore album titled Stay Tender, due out early summer, 2024.
